I return to Wonthaggi after 18 years of working in law firms in the Melbourne CBD working extensively in the area of property law.

Prior to practising and living in Melbourne, I lived in Wonthaggi and the surrounding area throughout my early years, living on the family farm and attending Wonthaggi High School.  I subsequently worked with local law firms in the town for 23 years whilst raising a family, studying and being active in the local schools and community. 

After many years working in the legal profession, I decided to consolidate my legal experience and after a number of years of part-time study, I obtained my law degree from the University of New England (NSW).  I have returned to Wonthaggi to be close to my parents, Don & Eileen Trewin and I look forward to providing reliable and professional legal services to all the existing clients, new clients and the general community of Wonthaggi.

From my first day in a law firm, I became passionate about property transactions and over the years I have been involved in property sales and acquisitions of a commercial, rural and residential nature which have included due diligence enquiries, arranging finance, providing assistance with subdivisions, off the plan developments (acting for both developers and Purchasers), owners corporations, Retirement Village units and developments, covenants, general law conversions, lost title applications, easements, leases, mortgages and complex property transactions.  Whilst focusing on property law, I also enjoy being involved in and have acted in a variety of other transactions including Sale of Business Agreements, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate matters.
